Details:

Here's hoping the weather gods shine brightly upon us today, for what should be an easy, pleasant walk, on the penultimate stage of the relay. The first half follows Cave Neck and Sweet Briar Roads southeastward, with few landmarks of note along the way. After passing a pair of housing developments, turn left onto the Lewes Georgetown Trail, which will carry us through the remainder of the day. A stop at Old World Breads is strongly recommended; what could be better than a pastry or a cookie before tackling those last few miles?

The stage concludes in Lewes, which was founded nearly 400 years ago, and has the architecture to prove it!

Support: A support vehicle will be accessible just before joining the Lewes Georgetown Trail (5.7 miles) and Old World Breads (7.8 miles). Water will be available to top off bottles, along with all necessary participant gear. 

Take Heed: Until you reach the Lewes Georgetown Trail, you'll be following roads with auto traffic. Food is not available for purchase on this stage until Old World Breads; don't expect public restrooms.
