The day begins in Annapolis (location TBD).

The stage concludes in Denton at Denton Town Hall.

After crossing the Severn River out of Annapolis, looking back at the riverside Naval Academy as we do, the relay will enjoy one of the newest segments of the ADT, following the B&A Trail northward, and then transitioning eastward onto the Broadneck Peninsula Trail. This leads to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, where we'll have vehicles available to shuttle participants across. Once on Kent Island, the route moves along the northern edge of Stevensville, where we'll be happy to pause for a well-earned break.

The ADT continues along the northside of Highway 50 through Chester, before flipping to the southside as it moves through the Kent Narrows. It picks up Maryland 18 there, meaning a little more noise and traffic through Grasonville, and then onward to Queenstown.

One last northward swoop from Queenstown leads to the resumption of the more typical southeastward progression for the remainder of the stage, following backroads and rural highways into Tuckahoe State Park, which has long been a friend of the ADT. The town of Ridgely is just a short distance further, where plenty of ADT hikers over the years have loaded up on calories. With Denton less than an hour's ride away, though, you might want to hold off on a proper binge until you conclude your ride.

Support: A support vehicle will be accessible at Skidmore & Holly Beach, before the Chesapeake Bay Bridge (7.5 miles), Kent Island (10 miles), and Queenstown (18.8 miles), and Lake Tuckahoe State Park (33.4 miles). Water will be available to top off bottles, along with all necessary participant gear. Food may be available for purchase in Kent Island, Queenstown, and Ridgely.
