The day begins at Red Creek Campground in the Dolly Sods Wilderness.

The stage concludes just outside of Keyser at Fountain Fire Station.

The stage kicks off with biker-friendly conditions, with an extended downhill coast from Dolly Sods along Brushy Ridge Rd. You might finally have to start doing some work after merging onto Jordan Run, but it probably won't be the worst thing to work up some body heat in November. 

There aren't a ton of landmarks on this stage, but your northward progression will carry you past Indian Head Campground, the small village of Greenland (and neighboring Scherr), and the modest towns of Antioch and Ridgeville. Instead of following a busy road down into Keyser, the ADT remains on the ridge above town, concluding at the firehouse where we're grateful to receive a warm welcome. And a cold one...

Support: A support vehicle will be accessible at Brushy Ridge & Jordan Run (12.7 miles), Falls Assembly (25.8 miles), and Antioch United (38.2 miles). Water will be available to top off bottles, along with all necessary participant gear. 

Take Heed: While you'll drop elevation pretty quickly, be prepared that you'll begin the day over 4000 feet in November. Things could be rough! Don't expect to be able to purchase food or access restrooms at any point in this stage.
