The stage concludes at City Hall in Clarksburg.

Almost as soon as we begin this stage, we'll stop for our first event. But it's worth it!

Event - Doddridge County Elementary School - Details TBA

The North Bend Rail Trail remains our home for most of today's stage, making for a quiet, car-free, and tunnel-filled journey. While it's hardly a straight line, the stage moves steadily eastward, with a few towns dotting the way. Following a long stretch along the Long Run, the ADT emerges in Salem, where we'll be quite happy to take a break at the historic depot.

Event - Salem - Details TBA

The gratitude we'll feel for one warm welcome in Salem will carry us onward to a second. After a stretch during which the NBRT moves a little too closely towards U.S. Route 50 for my taste, we'll conclude our time on that marvelous trail. We'll briefly loof southward from Wolf Summit, then double back to the northern side of 50 for the final approach into Clarksburg.

Event - Clarksburg - Details TBA

Support: A support vehicle will be accessible at Smithburg (3.5 miles), Salem - Historical Depot (13.5 miles), NBRT Wolf Summit Trailhead (18.9 miles), and Wilsonburg Rd (23.9 miles). Water will be available to top off bottles, along with all necessary participant gear. Food may be available for purchase in Salem and in the final approach to Clarksburg.
