The day begins at the Pennsboro B&O Depot in Pennsboro.

The stage concludes at the West Union City Park in West Union.

We have a relatively short stroll on the North Bend Rail Trail today. Here's hoping it's not too soggy! The meandering track winds alongside a series of small rivers and streams, like Dotson Run and Arnold Creek, while passing through some tiny communities like Toll Gate, Greenwood, Duckworth, and Central Station. Aside from the rural churches sprinkled along the way, there are few landmarks of note--just quiet walking along a verdant ribbon slicing through the West Virginia hills.

Support: A support vehicle will be accessible at NBRT Greenwood Trailhead (4.9 miles) and Central Station (9.2 miles). Water will be available to top off bottles, along with all necessary participant gear. 

Take Heed: Don't expect to have access to food (beyond what you pack) or restrooms during this stage.
