The stage begins at Gabbard Riverfront Park in Aurora.

The stage concludes at the Berry Way Fountains on the north end of the Roebling Bridge in Cincinnati.

This momentous stage breaks into four distinct parts. The first, which is also the shortest, runs alongside the Ohio River into Lawrenceburg along the Dearborn Trail. This is a delight and we hope some extra locals will join us for this opening leg. The second turns inland, following a series of paved roads into Elizabethtown--and Ohio--where the two branches of the American Discovery Trail through the midwest reunite, and then onward to North Bend. That will provide a proper opportunity to celebrate the coming together of those two relay teams.

Event - North Bend - William Henry Harrison Tomb - 11:30am

We're grateful to the Village of North Bend and the Lost Bridge/Carriage House for organizing a rest stop at the tomb with seating, beverages, snacks along with a welcome offered by the Mayor and members of the North Bend Village Council, Sons of the American Revolutions, and Daughters of the American Revolution. Time permitting, we also look forward to a tour of the Tomb and further information on the history of William Henry Harrison from the Director of the Tomb. 

Having visited the memorials to the father-and-son Harrison presidents, who both hailed from North Bend, we'll transition into the third part of this stage, first following the Ohio River Scenic Byway into Addyston and then forking onto quieter paved roads that parallel the highway. This section concludes at the Anderson Ferry, which has shuttled travelers across the Ohio River for more than two centuries! Part four involves the ADT's shortest state, with just a brief journey across these northern outskirts of Kentucky, passing through the neighboring towns of Bromley and Ludlow. The route climbs into Devou Park, where you'll be able to enjoy the loveliest view of Cincinnati, before descending into Covington and crossing the Roebling Bridge into the Queen City--and back into Ohio.

Congrats--you traveled across three states today!

Support: A support vehicle will be accessible at Lawrenceburg - Dunkin (4.2 miles), Elizabethtown (10.6 miles), William Henry Harrison Tomb - North Bend (15.9 miles), Addyston (18.1 miles), Anderson Ferry (25.4 miles), and Devou Park - Drees Pavilion (32.2 miles). Water will be available to top off bottles, along with all necessary participant gear. 

Take Heed: The two branches of the American Discovery 250 Relay reunite in Elizabethtown today! That may prove tricky, timing-wise, but we'll do our best to have both teams meet there before carrying on together.
