The day begins at the Riverfront Amphitheater in New Albany.

The stage concludes at The River View in Madison.

It's a long ride today, beginning and ending on the Ohio River, but spending little time near the waterway along the way. From New Albany, the ADT heads due north along paved roads to Bennettsville. The "official" ADT forks through the Deam Lake State Recreation Area, a marvelous walk on the Knobstone Trail, but unfortunately (and understandably) bikes aren't allowed on that trail. As a consequence, full-stage cyclists will take the bike alternative, which you'll likely be relieved to learn is much flatter!

Having skirted the edge of Clark State Forest, the ADT joins U.S. Route 31 to resume its northward push, leading through the small town of Underwood. That concludes at the Pigeon Roost Memorial, when it turns eastward, cutting through Lexington and Chelsea before finally returning to the Ohio River. After passing through Hanover and Indiana's oldest private university, the ADT swings well to the north in order to double back southward through Clifty Falls State Park, en route to the day's final destination in Madison.

Support: A support vehicle will be accessible at TBD ( miles), TBD ( miles), and TBD ( miles). Water will be available to top off bottles, along with all necessary participant gear. Food will likely be available for purchase in Bennettsville, Lexington, Chelsea, and Hanover.

Take Heed: While most of the roads utilized in this stage are not heavily used, the opening leg out of New Albany and the segment along U.S. Route 31 are likely to be busier.
