The day begins in Muncie at the Muncie Depot Trailhead - Cardinal Greenway.
The stage concludes in Richmond at the Cardinal Greenway D St. Trailhead
We're back onto two wheels (or maybe even three!) for another long stage on the Cardinal Greenway, continuing southeastward towards the edge of Indiana. The rail trail skirts the edge of the Red-tail Nature Preserve, which might merit a short detour. It then proceeds through a series of small towns, including Blountsville, Losantville--where you can grab a bite--Economy, and Williamsburg. Each of these towns offer trailheads with facilities, making it easy to pause for a comfortable break whenever you like. The final approach into Richmond is particularly lovely, slicing through Springwood Park and merging with the East Fork of the Whitewater River, before being delivered right into the downtown. You've got BBQ and ice cream sitting just off the trailhead. What more could you want?
