Start Information:

The day begins at the Four Freedoms Monument in Evansville.

End Information:

The stage concludes at the Allen Family Amphitheater in Newburgh.

Details:

The ADT follows the general curve of the Ohio River today, looping southward and then doubling back gently to the north, following Waterworks Road through agricultural fields directly along the Indiana-Kentucky border. Along the way, paved roads give way to dirt tracks, as the ADT converges with the river for two short stretches, before pushing back inland. This leads past the important historical site of Angel Mounds, the one-time home of the Angel chiefdom that flourished here in the 12th through 15th centuries. From there, it's just a short final push into the lovely riverside town of Newburgh.

Support: A support vehicle will be accessible at Eagle Slough (3.6 miles), Old Green River Rd (8 miles), and Angel Mounds (11.8 miles). Water will be available to top off bottles, along with all necessary participant gear.
