The day begins in Clayton at Chapman Plaza. 

The stage concludes in St. Louis at the Gateway Arch. 

We're walking across the City of St. Louis today! It's a brilliant way to learn about a place, as we pass through a series of distinct neighborhoods, academic institutions, and other notable highlights, including Washington University, Forest Park, just south of the Cathedral Basilica (well worth the short detour!), Saint Louis University, Harris-Stowe State University, Memorial Plaza, Citygarden, and the Old Courthouse. And then, of course, we finish at the biggest highlight of them all--the Gateway Arch, overlooking the Mississippi River.

Support: A support vehicle will be accessible at Missouri History Museum (3.8 miles), Whole Foods / Kaldi Coffee (5.3 miles), and St. Louis University (7.0 miles). Water will be available to top off bottles, along with all necessary participant gear. Public restrooms are available at the Visitors Center next to the MHM and in private businesses along the way.

Take Heed: Walking with others through an urban area can be distracting! Please pay attention at all intersections and be sure to make appropriate use of crosswalks.
