The day begins at the intersection of Main St and Valley View Rd in Marshalltown.

The stage concludes at River Place Plaza in Cedar Falls.

The ADT keeps zigzagging its way across Iowa today, now moving sharply northeastward along a mix of roads and trails. The day begins with a steady push northward on paved roads through Albion and Liscomb. After following 330th St east into Conrad, we join the Comet Trail for a short stretch into Beaman. Another long, paved section follows, leading eventually into Grundy Center.

The Pioneer Trail kicks in soon after, running alongside Diagonal Road through Morrison, where it'll be time for a hard-earned lunch!

Noon: Lunch Stop - Morrison - Offered by Grundy County Conservation

With full stomachs and ample appreciation for Grundy County Conservation & the Grundy Center Wellness Committee, we'll continue along the Pioneer Trail into Reinbeck, the black dirt capital of the world. It's back to roads after that, climbing north and then east to Hudson, where we have another warm welcome lined up.

Reenergized for the home stretch, we'll fork onto the Cedar Prairie Trail, swinging east and finally north through the outskirts of Cedar Falls. A special relay-only detour will carry us from the ADT to the city center for one last round of hospitality for the day.
