The day begins in Rocheport at the Katy Trail - Rocheport Trailhead.

End Information:

The stage concludes in Jefferson City at the Missouri State Capitol.

Details:

Today's entire stage, aside from the conclusion, moves southeastward along the Katy Trail, reversing Lewis & Clark's journey along the Missouri River. It's also a very quiet section, with only a few small towns interspersed along the quiet trail. Be sure to pause at Boat Henge and consider grabbing a cold drink at Cooper's Landing along the way. In Cedar City, just before crossing US Route 54, turn onto the Katy Trail Spur, crossing the Missouri into the state capital.

Support: A support vehicle will be accessible at McBaine (9 miles), Hartsburg (24.9 miles), and Katy Trailhead - North Jefferson City (35.1 miles). Water will be available to top off bottles, along with all necessary participant gear. Vault toilets at trailheads along the way. Food may be available at Cooper's Landing and Hartsburg.

Take Heed: Be sure to follow the bike track over the Missouri River and not the auto bridge. Also, keep an eye out for flood damage; the Katy Trail can suffer from this annually.
