The day begins in Lawrence at the Watkins Museum of History.

The stage concludes in Olathe at the Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop & Farm Historic Site

Leaving Lawrence, the ADT crosses the Kansas River and kicks off with a lovely riverside ride before pushing inland for a stretch. After crossing back over the river into Eudora, we'll take a short break:

Refreshment Stop - Eudora Community Museum

Thanks to Ben and team at the Eudora Community Museum for hosting us for a drink and some history!

Backroads carry us eastward from Eudora, as we follow W 103rd St and Lexington Ave into De Soto, before continuing along on W 83rd St. Some construction work will necessitate re-routing through the next section, but the upside of these changes is the opportunity to loop through Black Hoof Park past the Lenexa Dam. The ride into the park and onward from there offers a much-appreciated break from roads with auto traffic, following the Gary J. Haller, Mill Creek, and Mahaffie Creek Trails. Along the way, we'll have one great event, thanks to the leadership of the Wellness Program at the City of Lenexa. We're excited to have leaders with the City of Lenexa, including Mayor Julie Sayers, join us to carry the baton for a mile through their town.

And then another! We're excited to have a huge turnout from the City of Lenexa, joining us for the walk from Craig Crossing Park to Mill Creek Streamway Park.

Support: A support vehicle will be accessible at Eudora - Community Museum (13.7 miles), De Soto - McDonald's/Casey's (21.2 miles), and Black Hoof Park (30.1 miles). Water will be available to top off bottles, along with all necessary participant gear.
