Start Information:

The day begins at the Colorado Welcome Center in Julesburg. The welcome center has a parking lot where we can leave vehicles for the day.


End Information:

The stage concludes at the Martin Bay Recreation Area, in the large parking area on Martin Bay Recreation Road.

Details:

We will leave the welcome center and cross the South Platte River to Julesburg and then head northeast on route 138.

There will be a brief ceremony at the Colorado - Nebraska border before continuing on through Big Springs and then crossing the North Platte River and turning east on route 92 to Martin Bay.

The remaining ride proceeds along a hillside overlooking McConaughy Lake and its bright, sandy beaches. Plan on a dip at the end of a hot day's ride!
