The day begins in Pueblo at the southwest end of the G Harvey Nuckols Bridge. 

The stage concludes in La Junta at Santa Fe Plaza.

This is a long ride, continuing eastward along the Arkansas River and US 50. Leaving Pueblo, after a lovely opening stretch along the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk, the route pushes south through Salt Creek, and then joins the Bessemer Ditch eastward, following South Rd. After briefly merging onto US 50-BUS into Avondale, the ADT crosses the Arkansas and resumes its eastward push on Colorado 96 through Boone and into Olney Springs.

From there, a series of quick turns on country roads will lead you back south across the Arkansas, through Manzanola. And then you'll be heading "downstairs" through the grid system, moving east, south, and repeat through Rocky Ford and La Junta, staying just south of US 50 throughout.

Support: A support vehicle will be accessible at Avondale - Loaf N Jug (16.5 miles), Nepesta Rd (31 miles), Manzanola Town Hall (50.5 miles), and Rocky Ford (63 miles). Water will be available to top off bottles, along with all necessary participant gear. Food is available in Avondale, Boone, (possibly) Manzanola, and Rocky Ford.

Take Heed: Much of the day is spent on Colorado 96, a rural highway with minimal shoulder.
