NOTE: CLARIFICATION OF START PLACE

The day begins at the NW corner of Commons Park near 19th Street in Denver.

The stage concludes at the intersection of E 160th Ave and Tucson St outside of Brighton.

Gradually, very gradually, we move from central Denver through a series of suburbs, swinging back and forth across the river. As the morning draws on, the landscape opens up, with the riverside trail leading through the Thornton Gravel Ponds, the Pelican Ponds Open Space, and Valente Lake. The trail concludes as we briefly veer west through Riverdale Regional Park, before resuming the northward march along Riverdale Road to the finish line, on the western outskirts of Brighton. 

Support: A support vehicle will be available for assistance throughout the day. 

Take Heed: The endpoint for this stage is admittedly not great from a transportation and parking perspective. If needed, we can help shuttle you across the bridge into the town center.
