NOTE: THE DESTINATION FOR THIS DAY HAS CHANGED

The day begins in Sheridan at the confluence of the Bear Creek and the S. Platte River, and the point at which the American Discovery Trail splits into the northern and southern routes across the Midwest. (Across from the Regal Theaters)

At 8am there will be a public event featuring some local elected officials, everybody is invited and encouraged to come to that.

This is the busiest day of the entire relay, being at the split into north and south ADT routes there are a lot of participants plus all the local people, please get there early!

The stage concludes at the noerthwest corner of Commons Park in Denver near 19th St.

It's an easy, riverside stroll across Greater Denver today, following the South Platte River northward into the city center. This includes a series of pleasant parks, including Grant Frontier, Overland Pond, Vanderbilt, Johnson Habitat, Valverde, Frog Hollow, and Lower Lakewood Gulch, before finally concluding in the NW corner of Commons Park .
