The day begins at Citizens Park in Idaho Springs.

The stage concludes in Sheridan at the confluence of the Bear Creek and the S. Platte River, and the point at which the American Discovery Trail splits into the northern and southern routes across the Midwest.

This is the last stage in Western Colorado! The first six miles are the most strenuous, involving a climb on Little Bear Creek and Squaw Pass Roads to CO 103. Follow the country highway under CO 74 in Bergen Park, and then transition onto the Pioneer Trail leading south along the Evergreen Parkway (CO 74). This brings you to the north end of Evergreen Lake, which you'll then follow eastward into the town center. The ADT swings back northward through Kittredge along Bear Creek Road, and then south once more through Indians Hills on Myers Gulch Rd. Continue east to the Mt. Falcon West Parking Lot, following the trail eastward to Morrison. Follow Morrison Rd around Bear Creek Lake Park and then join the Bear Creek Trail. This brings you to the finish line in Sheridan, where the American Discovery Trail splits into northern and southern routes.

Support: A support vehicle will be accessible at CO 103 (6.1 miles), Buchanan Park (14.7 miles), Kittredge Park (22.3 miles), and Mount Falcon Morrison Trailhead (31.4 miles). Water will be available to top off bottles, along with all necessary participant gear.
