We conclude in Baker at the intersection of State Route 487 & Carson St
We've nearly made it! This is the last full stage in Nevada. Leaving Cave Lake, we follow Forest Service Road 574 southeastward past Cave Creek Reservoir. An initial ascent of 1000+ feet brings you back over 8600' near Cooper Mountain, before a prolonged descent over the next 15 miles brings you down through Cooper Canyon. Cross NV 893, then turn left onto US Route 50, 18 miles into the stage.
A few miles later, as 50 curves northward, continue straight on Osceola Road. The second (and last) ascent of the day follows, climbing 2000 feet over the next 6 miles. Near the top, you'll turn right off of Osceola, on County Road 1091 / Weaver Creek Rd. After another 8 miles, this delivers you back onto US Route 50. Fork right onto NV 487 for the final approach to Baker, passing the Great Basin National Park Visitor Center on your way in.

Support: A support vehicle will be accessible at NV 893 (15 miles), Osceola Cemetery (24 miles), and US Route 50 (34.4 miles). Be prepared with enough food/water to get you through, particularly if the support vehicle is not able to reach one of these resupply points.
