The day begins at Martin Ranch
Backtracking from Martin Ranch, the day begins by following Forest Road 61 northward, generally descending throughout. As you depart the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest and enter BLM land, you'll emerge in Antelope Valley. After continuing north on Antelope Valley Rd, you'll finally turn eastward, 11.4 miles into the stage.
A series of unmarked dirt tracks, upon which you'll make the only sustained ascent of the day--just 800 feet, more or less--and an even sharper descent, will ultimately (24 miles later) deliver you to Fish Creek Ardan Road. At a complicated intersection, 2 miles later, you'll fork right onto Duckwater Road / State Highway 379. This will take you to the finish line.
Support: A support vehicle will be accessible at Antelope Valley Rd (11.4 miles) and Fish Creek Ardan Road (35.3 miles). Water will be available to top off bottles, along with all necessary participant gear. Be prepared to cover the last 21 miles between those points without any further water/food access.
