We'll gather on the northwestern corner of William Land Regional Park. Street-side parking is available throughout the park.

The route concludes at River Bend Park, with parking available in the park lot.

Our walk across Sacramento begins with an urban stroll along Riverside Blvd and 10th St to the Capitol Building, before heading west through the old town to the Sacramento River. We'll pause for a short break--and essential caffeinating--at Blueprint Coffee, with appreciation for their invitation.

After a short inland walk past Old Sacramento State Historic Park, the remainder of the day will be spent riverside. We'll take the Sacramento River Parkway Trail to Jibboom St, cross the bridge, and transition over to the north side of the American River. The Jedediah Smith Memorial Trail / American River Bike Trail will get us through the remainder of the day.

Support: The support vehicle will be accessible near the Sacramento Capitol (2.7 miles), Lathrop Way River Access (8.2 miles), Raley's/Starbucks (11.7 miles), and Kadema Drive River Access (14.2 miles). Water jugs will be available to top off bottles and some participant supplies can be transported. Thanks to kind supporters, we have loads of granola bars available. Aside from the historic center early on, and a short detour to Raley's/Starbucks, opportunities to buy food or drink will be quite limited, so plan accordingly. Toilets should also be available at 5.1 miles
